The Philips Hue LED ceiling light Fair not only creates unique lighting moments in the room, but is also particularly flexible in terms of its application area, as its timeless design allows it to be used anywhere in the living room. It has a round metal body with a satin-finished plastic shade that contrasts beautifully with the trendy black lacquered metal frame. The light is generated by powerful LEDs inside and is emitted into the room particularly homogeneously and glare-free by the satin-finished plastic shade. Due to the fact that the luminaire is equipped with the innovative ZigBee standard, it can be integrated into an existing Hue Smart Home system for convenient light control via tablet or smartphone – provided a Hue Bridge is available (see accessories).

Alternatively, the lamp can also be switched to different light settings without this connection, because a dimmer switch is included in the scope of delivery, which communicates with the lamp via Bluetooth. It has four different preset light recipes that can be easily called up. Dimming and switching of the lamp is also possible. It can also be controlled via Bluetooth using a suitable app, the free Hue Bluetooth app. The advantage over the ZigBee version: no bridge is required. A very good alternative, especially for newcomers to the world of smart homes.
