Philips Hue White and Color Ambiance Nyro LED downlight

With its rectangular design reduced to the essentials, the Nyro plinth luminaire looks absolutely modern. It has a vertically oriented section that serves as a frame and supports a horizontal, laterally projecting area at the top. The latter is fitted with LEDs on the underside.

Their light can be used in a spectrum of 2,000 to 6,500 K as white, functional path lighting, but also with 16 million colourful gradations to immerse the outdoor area in a sea of colour.

In order to be able to adjust light colour and light output, the Hue integration by means of a bridge (see accessories) is required. This enables configuration according to time sequences or scenes in combination with other smart devices as well as remote control. Integration with other ZigBee-based systems is also possible, so that voice command operation is available via Google Home, Amazon Alexa or Apple HomeKit.

Note: For proper operation of Hue exterior lighting, the first exterior light should be no more than 10 metres from the interior bridge or a Hue lamp. After that, all other lights should be installed at a distance of max. 20 m. However, the following applies: the smaller the distance, the better.
