Innovative Philips LED Spot Pillar in white for the Hue system

Whether used singly or in groups, the Philips Hue Pillar dual-flame LED spotlight is a versatile light source that is both modern and timeless. The two luminaire heads, which are already fitted with two Philips Hue White Ambiance GU10 LED lamps on delivery, can be easily swivelled inside the housing so that the light cone can be individually adjusted to the room situation. Thanks to the innovative ZigBee technology of the supplied light sources, it is possible to control the luminaire via the Hue app. To do this, the ceiling spotlight must simply be connected to the WLAN router via the Hue-Bridge (available as an accessory). The bridge then ensures constant contact with the router, which in turn is controlled via the app. In this way, the light can be controlled from anywhere. But that’s not all the app has to offer, because it can be used to individually set and save not only the brightness but also the light temperature – from a pleasant warm white to a refreshing daylight. Even sunrises and sunsets can be staged, so that the light can be optimally adjusted to the time of day.

Alternatively, control via Bluetooth technology is also possible. No additional bridge or an existing smart home system is required for this. The Pillar spotlight is controlled directly via the matching Hue Bluetooth app with a smartphone or tablet.

The luminaire is also supplied with a dimmer switch which can be used to control and dim the luminaire without integration in a smart home system and use of an app.
